Superkad Services Sdn Bhd would like to clarify that the Auditor General’s report of a petrol transaction amounting to RM300 a litre, was actually caused by a technical glitch at the site reporting system which resulted in our printed statement report not showing the correct volume consumed in a particular transaction.
We confirm from our records that the RM300 transaction was actually made for 189.76 litres of diesel.
We have clarified and explained the situation to both the Penang State Government and the Auditor General.
We are investigating further the root cause of the technical glitch in our printed statement in an effort to rectify the system.
Superkad Services Sdn Bhd stresses that this reporting error is confined only to Shell Card users and not the general public who use credit cards.
