Kuala Lumpur, December 16 2009 – Shell Malaysia announced today the appointment of Encik Mohd Anuar Taib as its Chairman with effect from 1st January 2010. Encik Anuar, currently Vice President Malaysia for Shell Upstream International Asia and Managing Director Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum Company, will succeed Dato’ Saw Choo Boon, who will assume the role of Senior Adviser to Shell Malaysia effective the same date.

September 2, 2009, Bintulu, Malaysia - Shell MDS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Shell) has recently made an investment in a wax plant expansion project at the gas-to-liquids (GTL) plant here in Bintulu. Kuala Lumpur, 27 August 2009: Shell Refining Company (Federation of Malaya) Berhad (“Shell Refining” or the “Company”) today announced an after-tax net profit of RM 221 million for the second quarter 2009, bringing the year to date results to RM 334 million. For 2008, comparable earnings for the quarter and year to date, was RM 357 million and RM 480 million respectively. This decrease is mainly due to lower refining margins and stock gains.

This year's prestigious Kinabalu Shell Press Awards 2009 will be held in Kota Kinabalu on 7 August 2009. The Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Musa Hj Aman is expected to grace the ceremony.
