Taking place in over 15 countries, the series is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing with riders reaching top speeds of up to 350 km/h on the planet's most technologically-advanced machinery - add 60° lean-angles to that and it is clear to see why the series has such a passionate following.

Shell and Ducati have a rich history, beginning in 1999 with Shell supporting Ducati Corse in the World Superbike Championship, before the two joined forces to contest the MotoGP™ World Championship together. The partnership has since stormed to seven Riders' World Titles in MotoGP™ (2007) and the World Superbike Championship (1999,2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008), amassing over 150 race wins, making it one of the strongest and most successful in the world of premier motorcycle racing.

Shell Malaysia MotoGP ™ is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the season.

Specifically built for speed and exciting racing, the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia is one of the world's best. The 2,300-acre complex which also houses a hotel, shopping centre, golf course and other sports facilities, held its first Grand Prix in April 1999, setting the standard for race circuits worldwide.
