My name is Awis and I am originally from Muar.

My wife said that I had a strange hobby,
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
as it is different from others’ hobbies.
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
10 years ago, I fueled up at Shell Hartamas,
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
the station crew told me…
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
“Bro, if you fuel up RM30, you can purchase a James Bond car.”
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
I collected all the cars and displayed them at home.

Back then, I collected them just as part of my home décor
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
Without realizing, my collection started growing bigger.

When I saw my collection expanding,
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
I realized it has become a hobby for me.

When my son was one years old, I gave him the cars to play with…

That was it. All my cars were scratched or broken.

I was excited when I heard that Shell was releasing the 2019 Ferrari collection.

The 2019 Ferrari collection is highly sought after,
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
and I did not want to miss out on this collection for myself.

I was willing to wait from even before 12 midnight.

Once it was released at midnight, I would purchase the cars.

This is one of the best performing cars,
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
using the SF71H engine,
[Awisqarni Zulkiflee]
and it’s the model that I was most looking forward to.

I hope that my children will be able to continue what I have started.

When they have a hobby of their own,

they will learn to be more appreciative of things.

Hobbies can give us a sense of fulfilment.

Having a hobby is important, as we are doing something that we enjoy.
