Driven by Purpose
When Dania Roslee joined Sarawak Shell Berhad in 2023, she carried with her more than a Master’s degree from University College London, she brought a deep curiosity about how things work and a personal belief that growth happens only when you push beyond comfort. That mindset shaped her early days at the F23 Complex, where she navigated steep learning curves with calm confidence and a quiet determination to contribute meaningfully, and not just to complete assignments.
As she transitioned from onshore learning to offshore responsibility, Dania’s character became even more visible. She approaches challenges the way she approaches learning: with openness, reflection, and a desire to understand the “why” and not just the “what.” This thoughtful, people‑centred approach helped her build trust quickly and this was not by being the loudest voice, but by being dependable, curious, and deeply respectful of the experience around her. Her drive to make things better led her to simplify processes, strengthen safety habits, and create clarity in environments often defined by pressure and complexity.
Today, as Shell Malaysia Upstream’s first graduate engineer to step into the F23 Production Supervisor role within two years, Dania continues to lead the same way she learns; with intention, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility for the people she works with. Whether identifying new safety risks or coordinating across teams, she carries an instinctive desire to protect, improve, and uplift. Her story is not just about rapid progression, but about a young leader who blends technical excellence with genuine thoughtfulness.
