It is a program by the Government of Malaysia to rationalize the subsidy distribution for RON95 and Maingrade Diesel. Eligible recipient will be able to purchase RON95 and/or Maingrade diesel at subsidized price.

Yes, eligible citizen can purchase subsidized fuel at any public petrol stations that supplies RON95 and Maingrade diesel petrol in Malaysia.

Eligible citizen can either use their MyKad at our indoor cashier, or outdoor payment terminal to purchase subsidized fuel. Alternatively, you can also use Shell App or Touch n’ Go e-wallet app to purchase subsidised diesel.

You can use Shell App at the forecourt/outdoor; or TNG e-wallet or you may seek assistance from the station staff to make payment via indoor terminal. We recommend you head over to JPN and get the IC replaced.

There is no limit for number of transactions as long as there is balance in your BUDI MADANI subsidy entitlement.

No. The Malaysia's current policy still prohibits foreign-registered vehicles from purchasing RON95 petrol. However, they are permitted to buy RON97 or V-Power Racing fuel. This regulation remains in effect until further notice from the government.

If you believe the subsidy amount applied to your transaction is incorrect, you may submit a dispute through the government portal at www.budimadani.gov.my. At present, payments for subsidized RON95/Diesel can be made at either the outdoor payment terminal or the in-store payment terminal using credit cards, debit cards, or selected e-wallets such as Touch ’n Go eWallet, GrabPay or ShopeePay. Customers may also use the Shell App payment feature to enjoy additional rewards and benefits. Should you encounter any issues with the payment arrangement, please approach the station staff for assistance.

For the amount that is above and beyond your available subsidy quota, you will be paying for the amount at prevailing pump price.

Based on the current government ruling, the quota is refreshed on a monthly basis and quota balance cannot be carried forward.

You can transact subsidised RON95 & Diesel fuels fuel using the “Pay for Fuel” feature after binding your Shell App with TNG eWallet (one-time setup). Please ensure you toggle ON the BUDI MADANI Subsidy and select the subsidised fuel option (Shell FuelSave 95 or Shell FuelSave Diesel) at the “Enter Details” page of the Pay for Fuel feature before confirming payment and fueling.
