Shell V-Power Takes Malaysian Fans Behind the Scenes with Scuderia Ferrari HP as Racing Returns to Sepang
KUALA LUMPUR, – Shell V-Power brought Malaysian motorsport fans closer to the world of Scuderia Ferrari HP through an exclusive Shell Motorsport Experience Campaign during the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend in Malaysia. Offering access beyond the usual race-day experience, guests were given a unique perspective on the action at Sepang after a nine-year wait. The weekend ended on a high, with Scuderia Ferrari HP driver Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton delivering strong performances at the Bahrain Grand Prix, finishing third and fourth respectively.

As part of the experience, the special guests took part in a Pit Lane Walk, visited the Scuderia Ferrari HP garage, and explored the paddock, bringing them closer to the inner workings of a race weekend and the world of Scuderia Ferrari HP. The guests also stepped inside the Shell Trackside Laboratory – the mobile laboratory where Shell Scientists test and analyse, in real time, the race fuel and lubricants technology used by Scuderia Ferrari HP throughout the race weekend. The weekend also featured a special appearance by Scuderia Ferrari HP drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, before the guests took in the atmosphere and excitement of the Bahrain Grand Prix from the Grandstand.
Zairi Dzuljastri, General Manager, Shell Mobility & Convenience, Malaysia, said, “The return of racing to Sepang is a significant moment for Malaysia’s motorsport community, and one that gave us a unique opportunity to bring our customers closer to the world of Scuderia Ferrari HP. Our long-standing relationship allows us to create experiences that go beyond what fans typically see from the stands and bring them closer to the passion and performance behind the team.
“That connection goes beyond the race weekend. For decades, Shell and Scuderia Ferrari HP have shared a commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation, and the learnings from that collaboration continue to shape the fuels and lubricants we develop for our customers.”
For the Malaysian special guests who experienced the weekend first-hand, the opportunity offered a perspective on motorsport they would rarely get to see as fans. Kumaragurubharan from Port Dickson, a passionate motorsport fan of 12 years , said, “The last time I watched the race at Sepang, I was 14. Now I’m 23, so to be back nine years later and experience it this way feels incredible. I never imagined I would have the opportunity to see Lewis and Charles in person, and I feel really lucky to be here.”
For How Bee Yong from Klang, a long-time Ferrari fan who has collected Shell Ferrari model cars over the years, the experience was particularly special as a family of motorsport fans. “My son was probably the happiest when I found out I had won, as he had already bought his own ticket for the race. In the end, we both got to be there for the return to Sepang, which makes it even more special.”
A Malaysian tribute to Scuderia Ferrari HP

The experience extended beyond the circuit to Shell KLIA Sepang, where Shell V-Power brought together Malaysian culture and motorsport fandom ahead of the race weekend. More than 500 messages and well-wishes from Malaysian fans were transformed into bespoke batik-inspired pieces incorporating the names and messages of fans who shared their support for Leclerc and Hamilton.
Siti Sulaiman, Country Chair, Shell Malaysia, and Zairi presented the pieces to the Scuderia Ferrari HP drivers at the closed-door event. Bringing together messages from Malaysian fans, the tribute became a tangible expression of Malaysian support while adding a distinctly local touch to the Shell KLIA Sepang experience.
Bringing race-proven performance to the road
That pursuit of performance is reflected in Shell V-Power – Ferrari’s First Fuel. 100% of the performance-boosting technology used in Shell V-Power road fuel is used by Scuderia Ferrari HP on the track, while Shell V-Power cleans up to 100% of critical engine parts to keep your engine performing like new.
Creating memorable experience for Shell customers
The exclusive Shell Motorsport Experience was part of Shell Malaysia’s Feel the Fuel campaign, which ran from 24 August to 20 September 2026. Through collected entries via the Shell App, customers had opportunities to get closer to the world of Scuderia Ferrari HP and experience the passion for performance that connects the two brands.
This builds on Shell’s long-standing Innovation Partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP, which began more than 75 years ago at the pinnacle of motorsport and continues to be driven by a shared pursuit of innovation and performance.

These risk factors also expressly qualify all forward-looking statements contained in this announcement and should be considered by the reader. Shell’s net carbon intensity
Also, in this announcement we may refer to Shell’s “net carbon intensity” (NCI), which includes Shell’s carbon emissions from the production of our energy products, our suppliers’ carbon emissions in supplying energy for that production and our customers’ carbon emissions associated with their use of the energy products we sell. Shell’s NCI also includes the emissions associated with the production and use of energy products produced by others which Shell purchases for resale. Shell only controls its own emissions. The use of the terms Shell’s “net carbon intensity” or NCI is for convenience only and not intended to suggest these emissions are those of Shell plc or its subsidiaries.
Shell’s net-zero emissions target
Shell’s operating plan and outlook are forecasted for a three-year period and ten-year period, respectively, and are updated every year. They reflect the current economic environment and what we can reasonably expect to see over the next three and ten years. Accordingly, the outlook reflects our Scope 1, Scope 2 and NCI targets over the next ten years. However, Shell’s operating plan and outlook cannot reflect our 2050 net-zero emissions target, as this target is outside our planning period. Such future operating plans and outlooks could include changes to our portfolio, efficiency improvements and the use of carbon capture and storage and carbon credits. In the future, as society moves towards net-zero emissions, we expect Shell’s operating plans and outlooks to reflect this movement. However, if society is not net zero in 2050, as of today, there would be significant risk that Shell may not meet this target.
Forward-Looking non-GAAP measures
This announcement may contain certain forward-looking non-GAAP measures such as adjusted earnings and divestments. We are unable to provide a reconciliation of these forward-looking non-GAAP measures to the most comparable GAAP financial measures because certain information needed to reconcile those non-GAAP measures to the most comparable GAAP financial measures is dependent on future events some of which are outside the control of Shell, such as oil and gas prices, interest rates and exchange rates. Moreover, estimating such GAAP measures with the required precision necessary to provide a meaningful reconciliation is extremely difficult and could not be accomplished without unreasonable effort. Non-GAAP measures in respect of future periods which cannot be reconciled to the most comparable GAAP financial measure are calculated in a manner which is consistent with the accounting policies applied in Shell plc’s consolidated financial statements.
