Shell recognised five enterprises as state winners of the Shell LiveWire Malaysia Sabah challenge held today at Plaza Shell, as part of its continued efforts to empower innovation and entrepreneurship. The event was officiated by Yang Berusaha Tuan Hj Suhaib bin Datuk Hj Ismail, Deputy Permanent Secretary I, Ministry of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport Sabah (MINDET).

Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Ltd (SSPC) has awarded four deepwater asset operations contracts to Sabah-based companies, Bayu Asli Sdn. Bhd. and Unipetro Engineering Sdn. Bhd., reinforcing Shell’s commitment to developing local capabilities across a diverse range of specialised services.

Five local enterprises were recognised for the strength of their ideas and business potential at the Shell LiveWire Malaysia 2026 Sarawak state finals in Kuching. The event, held at the TEGAS Digital Village, was officiated by YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Sarawak Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment and Chairman of TEGAS. Also present was Haji Udin bin Bujang, CEO of TEGAS.

Kuching – Shell LiveWire Malaysia 2025 culminated today in Kuching with the recognition of five outstanding enterprises as national winners. The prestigious awards ceremony was graced by YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. The winners emerged from 15 finalists across Sabah, Sarawak, and Peninsular Malaysia, each having proven their excellence by clinching state-level wins last year. Also in attendance was YB Datuk Haji Len Talif Salleh, Sarawak Deputy Minister for Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment and Chairman of Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS).
