Shell upskills local talent in Sabah through certified welding programme

Kota Kinabalu – A total of 62 Sabahans were awarded certificates for successfully completing Projek LINK (Latihan Industri Kimpalan), which is a Shell-certified welding programme at Kolej Vokasional Likas (KV Likas), in a graduation ceremony today. Projek LINK is a collaborative effort between Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Limited (SSPC) and KV Likas.

Asia Pacific University’s Team APU Awarded National Winner of #ShellSelamatSampai Varsity Challenge 2023

Shell’s road safety programme for tertiary education students, #ShellSelamatSampai Varsity Challenge is proud to announce Team APU from Asia Pacific University as its grand winner for 2023, today. Shell LiveWIRE 2023 awards five enterprises as its national winners

Kuala Lumpur – Shell awarded five enterprises as grand winners of Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia 2023 at its national awards ceremony, which took place today at Wisma Shell. The event was officiated by YB Datuk Ewon Benedick, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives of Malaysia, who also presented the winners their prizes. Also present at the event was Tuan Haji Udin bin Bujang, CEO of Tabung Gagasan Ekonomi Anak Sarawak (TEGAS). The five winning enterprises were among 15 finalist enterprises that emerged state winners of Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia, earlier this year.

First 360kW high-performance charging hub powered by Shell Recharge to be unveiled in Resorts World Genting

Kuala Lumpur – Shell Recharge unveiled its plan to set up an electric vehicle charging hub in Resorts World Genting, which will consist of 10 charging bays outfitting an ultra-fast 360kW high-performance charging (HPC) to enable electric vehicles (EV) accessibility up in Malaysia’s premier integrated resort destination by early next year.

Girl Code from SMK Lutong crowned national champion of Shell NXplorers Malaysia 2023

Kuala Lumpur – Three students from SMK Lutong made their state proud when their team, Girl Code was awarded the national champion of Shell NXplorers Malaysia 2023, after competing with five other teams from schools across the country. Shell NXplorers is Shell’s STEM related competition which challenges school students to work in teams to design and develop solutions to real-world problems within the nexus of food-water-energy.

Team Tri-C-Cle from SMK Bandar Puncak Jalil is the Grand Winner of The 2023 Shell NXplorers Peninsular Malaysia Challenge

Kuala Lumpur - SMK Bandar Puncak Jalil’s Team Tri-C-Cle emerged champion of Shell NXplorers 2023 Peninsular Malaysia Challenge, Shell’s STEM related competition which challenges school students to work in teams to design and develop solutions to real-world problems within the nexus of food-water-energy. JAM from SMK Aminuddin Baki was announced first runner up in this challenge.

Smk Bintulu’s Team Sentinels Awarded Grand Winner Of The 2023 Shell Nxplorers Sarawak Challenge

Miri – Team Sentinels from SMK Bintulu was announced state champion of Shell NXplorers 2023 Sarawak Challenge, Shell’s STEM related competition which challenges school students to work in teams to design and develop solutions to real-world problems within the nexus of food-water-energy. Girl Code from SMK Lutong was announced first runner up in this state challenge.

W.O.W.(Women of Wisdom) From SMK Pekan Telipok is the Grand Winner of the 2023 Shell NXplorers Sabah Challenge

Kota Kinabalu – SMK Pekan Telipok’s team W.O.W. (Women of Wisdom), an all-girls team emerged state champion of Shell NXplorers Sabah, Shell’s STEM related competition which challenges school students to work in teams to design and develop solutions to real-world problems within the nexus of food-water-energy. XO_Leiune from SM All Saints was announced first runner up in this state challenge.

Shell MDS conducts emergency response exercise with Bintulu authorities

Bintulu – Shell Middle Distillate Synthesis (Shell MDS) collaborated with the Bintulu authorities to conduct an Emergency Response Exercise, which kick started today. This initiative with BOMBA, Royal Malaysia Police, Bintulu Hospital and other members of Bintulu Emergency Mutual Aid (BEMA) was conducted in Fairfield Marriott Hotel, Bintulu.

Shell starts development of Rosmari-Marjoram’s onshore plant

Bintulu − Sarawak Shell Berhad (SSB), a subsidiary of Shell plc, marks the start of the onshore plant development for the Rosmari-Marjoram project with a ground-breaking event in Bintulu. Kuching − Shell awarded five enterprises as grand winners of Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia 2022 in the national finals, which took place at TEGAS Digital Village, today. These five enterprises were among 15 enterprises that emerged winners of Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia, last year.
