SHELL GTL SARALINE 185V

Our flagship product, Shell GTL Saraline 185V is our premium-quality drilling fluid suitable for use in wide range of drilling applications. It is used in over 20 countries, it has a proven track record of excellence with supply security through a world-class distribution network, supported by two unique Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) plants and over a dozen supply hubs across the globe.

IMPROVED DRILLING PERFORMANCE

SHELL GTL SARALINE 185V: LOW VISCOSITY, LOW POUR POINT AND RELATIVELY HIGH FLASH POINT - IDEAL FOR DRILLING IN A RANGE OF WELL CONDITIONS AND DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS.

  • Better equivalent circulating density (ECD), faster drilling rate and increased hole cleaning efficiency with its low viscosity.
  • Better mud control while drilling with less time spent on mud conditioning with its relatively flat rheology profile over a wide working temperature.
  • Suitable for deep water environments with mud line temperatures of 40˚F (4.4˚C).
  • Suitable for high-temperature high-pressure (HTHP) environments with exceptional thermal stability in borehole temperatures up to 400˚F (205˚C)
  • Improves safety to workers and operations with its high flash point.
  • Improves elastomer compatibility which reduces failure leading to lower non-productive time with its high aniline point.
