The collaboration between Shell Malaysia, Alpha Wax and Hywax started already back in 2018 because the market has been experiencing very tight supply of high-quality microcrystalline waxes already since 2014.

When Alpha Wax gave us the samples, we tested it. It was a long stability testing needed because it has to be used for US market, and then the product was very good.

We are excited to test the product and then we are very happy to see this product.

So at this moment we are working on a new Microwax and so far we have been having excellent results and we see a lot of advantage for many applications like the filters industry, also the mattresses. So for us, we believe it's going to be a very important product.
